Nyköpingshem is the largest housing company in Nyköping. It is owned by Nyköpings municipality and the municipality also appoints the members of the board. Municipal housing corporations build and own dwellings whose rents are based on the at-cost principle after negotiations with the tenants' association. The company´s profits stays in the company and will not be larger than what is necessary to secure a long-term property management.
The company´s properties include 4 450 apartments. They are situated both in the city center and its surroundings and we also have apartments at several places in the county.
It is easy to register at Nyköpingshem. Press "hitta hem" and then go to "registrera dig". Fill in the form. On the last page of the form you will choose your own pin-code. Please remember the pin-code.
After you have registered for the first time, you can get to your own page. Login with your personal secure number and your pin-code.
The application you register is valid for 6 months. If you log in to your own page it is automatically extended for 6 months again, so it is possible for you to keep your place in the queue as long as you like.

To see what is available at the moment, go to "lediga lägenheter". It is an up-to-date list over apartments available to rent. We change the list once a week, every Thursday.
You have the possibility to show interest for an apartment, you can "book" an apartment. You can do this during one week, from Thursday until the following Wednesday. It is the first five in the queue that is offered to look at the apartment. It is the date when you registered at Nyköpingshem that controls what place you stand in the queue.
